As part of the ongoing Annual Reassessment Program in the City of Lackawanna, the Assessors' Office will be reviewing and analyzing the assessments of all property in the City of Lackawanna. According to the Real Property Tax Law, all property assessments must be valued at the same uniform percentage.
 
  The City of Lackawanna assessments are at 100% of market value 

   

EXEMPTIONS
 
The Assessors' Office is currently accepting new applications for Basic & Enhanced STAR, Veteran's , Senior & Disability Exemptions for the 2010 tax roll.  December 1, 2010 is the deadline for all exemptions to be applied to the 2011 assessment roll.
 
Aged (Senior), Enhanced STAR and Disability renewal applications where mailed to previous recipients on May 15, 2010
